We operate in 150+ countries across seven regions, supporting businesses and organisations across 70+ sectors as they scale internationally and manage their global workforces.

The main purpose of your role

We are seeking an experienced Global (EOR) Employee Relations Specialist to take primary, ongoing ownership of employee relations and termination activity across our Employer of Record (EOR) services operating in 150+ countries.

Reporting to the Global Employment Operations Manager, this is a senior, hands-on role requiring a highly proactive approach to managing complex employee relations matters. You will anticipate risks, intervene early, and drive cases forward with confidence – ensuring timely, compliant, and people-centred outcomes.

Acting as a trusted, client-facing advisor, you will balance commercial realities with fairness, employee wellbeing, and legally defensible decision-making in an international environment.

What will you be doing as a Global (EOR) Employee Relations Specialist?

•       Proactively owning and managing complex global ER and termination cases end-to-end, from initial query through investigation, decision-making, outcome, and appeal.

•       Leading all aspects of terminations and mutual separations, ensuring compliant processes, accurate documentation, and sensitive, professional delivery across jurisdictions.

•       Anticipating employee relations risks and driving early resolution to prevent escalation, reduce legal exposure, and protect client and business interests.

•       Acting as the primary ER and HR specialist for clients within EOR services, confidently influencing decisions and setting clear expectations.

•       Leading and supporting difficult conversations and termination meetings with EOR workers globally, applying professionalism, compassion, and emotional intelligence.

•       Managing investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, performance, absence, capability, and dismissal processes, in line with local legislation and best practice.

•       Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining international employment contracts, policies, termination letters, and settlement or mutual separation agreements.

•       Liaising closely with payroll, in-country partners, and external employment lawyers on termination calculations, tax treatment, and legal compliance.

•       Monitoring, interpreting, and communicating relevant employment law and regulatory updates across jurisdictions.

•       Supporting workload prioritisation and providing guidance to EOR HR Consultants, ensuring consistency and quality of case management.

•       Recommending and supporting process, system, and automation improvements across EOR and People Relations services.

•       Carrying out supervisory and delegation responsibilities for HR specialist consultants and administrative staff within the EOR & Contracts department.

Requirements

If you have a mix of the following qualifications, knowledge and experience, skills, and personal attributes, you may be who we’re looking for.
